Our extra-curricular highlights
Debating and Public speaking
Students can develop their thinking, communication and teamwork skills through debating and public speaking. They also have the chance to compete in local and state events.
Wakakirri
Wakakirri is a creative arts program that gives students the chance to share stories through movement, drama, dance, and acting on stage. It offers a valuable opportunity to build teamwork and performance skills, culminating in a vibrant production held in a professional theatre. Participation requires an audition and a program fee.
Dance & Tap Ensembles
Our recreational dance and tap classes bring movement to life! Students learn dynamic, age-appropriate techniques that build strong foundational skills while keeping the fun front and centre. Throughout the year, they master exciting choreography that all comes together in a show-stopping end-of-year performance.
Pulse Alive
Pulse Alive Dance is an Arts Unit festival open to students in Years 2–6, giving them the chance to take part in an unforgettable, large-scale performance event. This spectacular showcase provides high-quality performing arts opportunities for NSW public school students. Our dancers join a massive combined-schools routine and shine on stage in an energising finale performance.
Orchestra
For students who are excited to make music together and grow their skills, we offer a range of ensemble opportunities for Years 3–6. Students can choose to join:
- Senior Orchestra
- Recorder Ensemble
- Ukulele Ensemble
These groups give young musicians the chance to collaborate, perform, and develop their talents in a supportive and vibrant ensemble setting.
Choir
Singing offers students a wonderful opportunity to discover their voices, perform, and be part of a lively, supportive choir community. Students in Years 1–2 can join the Training Choir for school events, while Years 3–6 have the chance to sing in two-part harmony with the Senior Choir, performing at prestigious venues such as the Sydney Opera House, Sydney Town Hall, and Qudos Bank Arena.
