Religion and ethics

At Strathfield Public School Religious Education (SRE) and Special Education in Ethics (SEE) are delivered on Wednesday mornings from 9:15am for K-2 students, from 9:45am for Years 3-4 students and from 10:20am for Years 5-6 students.

On enrolment parents/carers are given the SRE and SEE participation letter to complete and return to indicate their preference for religion or ethics class. After the initial enrolment, notification of changes to a child’s enrolment in SRE/SEE should be given to the school office in writing.

·         Catholic SRE is provided by the Catholic Diocese of Sydney. During the time the SRE/SEE classes are being held, students not attending will be supervised and will participate in independent, meaningful activities which include reading, private study or completing homework.
