Dance the Night - 9 Dec 2025

Dance and tap ensembles and competition troupes performed at an end of year school performance, choreographed by the amazing Miss Sally! It was such a joy to watch them shine!

Specfest Flash Mob - 28 Nov 2025

Twenty-eight students from Years 2–6 performed in the Specfest flash mob after rehearsing with Miss Francis and Miss Di Palma. The event brought together over 400 students from across NSW, led by our own Miss Sally as choreographer and dance director. They represented SNPS proudly. Thank you to our families for their support and transport.

Superhero Day - 18 Nov 2025

The SRC held their final fundraising event of the year! All money raised has been donated to Bear Cottage, part of the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network. Students enjoyed dressing up as their favourite superheroes and taking part in a range of fun, themed activities. It was a hugely successful day, enjoyed by everyone at SNPS!

Overnight Excursion Cockatoo Island - 11 Nov 2025

Stage 2 students had an absolutely thrilling adventure on their camp at Cockatoo Island! From the moment they stepped off the ferry, they felt like real explorers stepping back in time.

They explored the tiny rooms where convicts were squeezed in, tried the hard wooden slabs they slept on, and even stepped inside the dark isolation cells. They also walked through the sandstone tunnels carved by convicts long ago. It was a thrilling adventure they won’t forget!

Art Pod Excursion - 27 Oct 2025

Our K–6 Art Pod students and staff enjoyed a wonderful visit to the Art Gallery of NSW, where they took part in an engaging learning tour and hands-on workshop exploring the work of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists. The program centred on the concept of burbangana—a word from the Sydney Aboriginal language meaning “take hold of my hand and help me up.”

Wakakirri - 7 Aug 2025

Our Wakakirri Team, made up of Year 2-6 students, performed at NIDA on 7th August. Wakakirri is a national festival where schools tell stories through dance. SNPS presented "Courage of a Lion", inspired by The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe, sharing themes of courage, love, friendship and resilience.

We're incredibly proud of our dancers and backstage crew for their dedication. A big thank you to Miss Sally for her vision and choreography. We also received great feedback and several show awards from the Wakakirri team.

Harmony Day - 27 March 2025

The day featured performances that highlighted the diverse cultures of students along with a colourful parade that involved the whole school.

These activities allowed students to share their cultural backgrounds and celebrate the diversity in Australia.

Harmony Day at our school was a great way to promote inclusivity, respect and unity among the students.

Junior Competition Troupe - 19 June 2025

Our Junior Comp Troupe was bursting with excitement as they hit the stage for the In The Spotlight Dance Festival! Under the dazzling lights of the Seymour Centre, their costumes shimmered and shone while they grooved to Elvis’ Rubberneckin’. Their energy was high, their smiles were bright, and they danced with confidence and joy. It was a fantastic moment to watch, and the crowd loved every second!

Sydney Swans visit - 11 February 2025

The Swannies made an incredible visit to our school bringing excitement of AFL straight to our students! All K-6 classes had the chance to join in a thrilling 40 minute clinic guided by 5 of the team's players, Isaac Heeney, Henry Cunningham, Lewis Melican, William Edwards and Ben Paton.

It was an action-packed day, filled with energy and fun, as the players promoted AFL and inspired our kids to get active and involved in the game.  What an unforgettable experience!
